Guests use in-room phones for rapid communication with reception, hotel services, or room-to-room calls. Hotel staff use portable devices for internal communication which can be deployed on DECT, FMC or Wi-Fi technologies.
For more complex communication, a specialized PBX is required, with such features as PMS integration, call accounting and voice mail systems. A local call-center may be arranged as well.
